Carter's Birthday!

Our littlest monkey turned THREE today! He has gotten so "big" the last couple of months, it's crazy to see him being so "grown up!" Above is the best shot of the day, posing with his cake/cupcakes. Silly monkey couldn't decide whether he wanted cupcakes or cake, so Mommy got creative and he got both!

We started the day off with big sister making Carter some birthday chocolate chip pancakes...

And then right away headed outside to enjoy his new "Cars" birthday bicycle from Daddy and Mommy.

He's trying really hard here to pedal on the uphill side of our street...

This is a shot of a fun boy contraption. Trevor strapped the box that Carter's new bike came in onto a skateboard and he got Carter to sit in the box and then pushed him up and down the driveway and street. At least he had his helmet on still!!

Per Carter's specific request, his birthday lunch was a grilled cheese sandwhich picnic in the back of Daddy's truck...

Carter's little friends that came over to help him celebrate his birthday...

Misc snow pics

Here's the last few snow pics from the white fun we've had! Today there's just a tad of it left in the shady corners of the yards...three snow/ice storm/blizzards in seven weeks has been more than awesome! And we have a touch of snow in the forecast for tomorrow too!!!

Here's the house...we got up to 12 inches in spots...

Carter and Mommy...

Emilee made an ice fort from the sheets of ice we pried up off of the driveway. The ice was up to two inches thick so it made for great "walls"...

Snowy brothers...

Here's a great shot of the ice accumulation on one of our bushes...

One more snowman and two cute monkeys...

Can't resist a group pic...

Sledding

There is a huge mound 'o dirt outside of our subdivision, where the local construction companies have collected the extra fill dirt until it can be hauled away. This hill made for most excellent (and mediumly dangerous lol) sledding in the recent snow storms. So I prayed that Trevor wouldn't break his arm again and took the monkeys for some winter fun...

Em comes down first, then Trev...

Here's Em...
